ST. Mary's Supper Club & Catering's Story
Bernie and I have worked very hard to continue the tradition of the Supper Club. Although we kept a few of the staples on the menu, we have also expanded it to include many of the entrees we have developed over the years. We try to make every meal the way we like it, and that has worked for us.
The history of the Supper Club and this building is about 100 years long. The building, originally a residence, was built in 1918. At some point it became a grocery store, a tavern, a place for card games and eventually a restaurant. In the mid 60's George Wilson bought this building and turned it into one of the best places to eat in the Wabash Valley. Since that time there have been 4 more owners that have continued a variation of the ST. Mary's Supper Club. Bernie and I bought the Supper Club in the fall of 2002 after it had been closed for a short time, and through some trial and tribulations, were able to get it reopened on February 11th, 2004.
